About Presenter

Yawei Zhang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Product and Materials Design from the University of Oregon, USA, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design from the same school. He is also a lecturer at the Esslinger Studio in the Shanghai Institution of Visual Arts College of Fudan University. He has won several prestigious international and domestic product design awards, including the Red Dot Award, A Design Award, Golden Pin Design Award, and IDSA International Design Award. 2018 he was also awarded the China Design Imagination Award – Most Popular Designer of the Year. Yawei Zhang has previously worked as a product and visual designer for well-known sports brands Nike and Adidas. He is now the co-founder of WY&P Holistic Design Consultancy and is recognized as a member of the Forbes Global Alliance. He holds multiple personal invention patents, new utility model patents, and appearance patents.
