Our Discipline Now 2024

Design is not just how we create visuals, objects, or concepts, but importantly, the design is closely related to society, culture, and people. We experience the power of design every day: design influences us by sending appropriate messages. Thus, the design must incorporate marketing, psychology, anthropology, sociology, semiotics, and other disciplines in developing compelling messages. Hence, a new generation of educators and designers is trying to position design in a new direction and boundary. With that in mind, ‘Our Discipline Now’ is where we can share valuable ideas, concerns, and experiences.
