Kent, Ieong Chi Kin, born in Macau, is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Design at the University of Macau. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Macau Polytechnic Institute in 1999 and his Master’s in Cultural Studies from Lingnan University in Hong Kong in 2010. He is currently a consultant at the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region, where he is responsible for exhibition planning, coordination, research, and graphic design. He has previously worked in the Macao Museum of Art as a graphic designer and curator for contemporary art exhibitions. From 2012 to 2017, he specialized in planning large-scale performing arts festivals and events, including the Macau International Music Festival, Macau Arts Festival, Macao City Fringe Festival, and the Grand Parade in the Latin District. His graphic design works have been exhibited in Finland, the Czech Republic, Japan, South Korea, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Ningbo.
