UDA Annual International Design Competition 2018

All designers and students can submit their best poster designs about exhibition, competition, conference, party, occasion, branding, entertainment, promotion, teaser, selling, typography, theory, research, and style.
Posters communicate its message and show its narrative story. It is defined as a painting or an illustration art in the Industrial Revolution ages. It remains in our culture as a historical artifact. From UDA’s prestigious annual design competition, all participants will show their best posters and UDA will preserve their posters as the historical artifacts.

Poster Design Categories (Sub-categories)
Designers can choose Design Category 1, 2, and 3. Students can choose Design Category 4.

- Student (Open to all subject matters)
Design & Submission Specification
Please follow this design specification. If you do not follow it, we cannot guarantee your submission. You can only submit bitmap images (A1 size JPEG with CMYK 300 DPI resolution), no vector images.
Step 1. You must use the following method for naming your files (JPEG design file & MS Excel entry form file):
File name: 18POS_Your Status (Designer or Student)_FirstName LastName_Title
Example: 18POS_Designer_John Doe_UDA Conference
Step 2. Must save your file as a JPEG file (A1 size, CMYK, 300 DPI) with ‘Image Options: Quality: 12 Maximum’ and ‘Format Options: Baseline (“Standard”)’
Step 3. Submit your files (JPEG design file & MS Excel entry form file) via email to email@example.com.
Step 4. Send your submission fee via PayPal account firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure you have right name and address.
– Single Entry: us$20
– Multiple Entries (Max 5) from one designer: us$50
– Single Entry: us$10 per entree
Submission Deadline: Monday, May 14
Award Announcement: Monday, June 25
All awarded designs will be announced at www.uniteddesigns.org.
Award Certificate & Publication
All awarded designers receive an Award Certificate via email.
If you order a copy of publication (us$60), UDA will send it with a hard copy of the Award Certificate.
All UDA Directors get 50% discount during a limited time.
Copyright: All matters regarding copyright of the entry will be the responsibility of the entrant. All designs will become the Collection of United Designs Alliance. The United Designs Alliance reserves right to use all information provided by the entrants, as well as the right to publish, exhibit or reproduce all designs entered for the competition.
