John Coy has practiced design in Los Angeles since graduating from Art Center College of Design. He headed COY, LOS ANGELES which was an internationally recognized graphics firm and the recipient of numerous prestigious design awards. He has work in major museums in the U.S. including the CooperHewit, National Design Museum in New York. John’s work focuses mainly on corporate identity and publication design for arts, education, and fashion-related enterprises. He is an AIGA Fellow and was the founding president of the Los Angeles AIGA chapter. At present, John does consulting work and maintains a small design practice in the Los Angeles area with clients on both the east and west coasts.
